Description of Role:
Riverside works is a growing company in need of an energetic candidate with a willingness to learn and become an installer of a varient of products in our range. We are looking for a lively person who enjoys learning new skills and being part of a team. During training, this employee will shadow an installer and begin to handle each step of the installation process as they learn our products and processes, before taking on leadership roles in the future. We’re looking for someone who wants to be taught and gain experience in awning manufacture and installation.

  • Climbing and working with heights, specifically on ladders
  • Attaching awning and shade products using hand tools and power tools
  • Stripping framework of canopies
  • Covering canopies
  • Drilling and mounting framework
  • Making calculated adjustments to canvas and frames
  • Cleaning the warehouse and canopies

  • Carpentry or construction background desired
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs (45kg)
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • A willingness to learn and gain valuable experiences
  • An ability to work on a team and independently
  • Experience using hand tools and reading a tape measure etc.
  • Must be physically fit as lifting will be required. Essential Criteria:
  • Driver’s License
  • CSCS Card
